According to the US Department of Agriculture, for the period Nov 13-19, 2020 about wheat net sales of 795,700 metric tons (MT) for 20/21–a MY high–were up noticeably from the previous week and up 74% from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for China (333,000MT, including 130,000MT switched from unknown destinations), Japan (109,900MT), unknown destinations (69,800MT), Nigeria (63,000MT), and the Philippines (62,400MT), were offset by reductions for Italy (4,800MT). Exports of 343,200MT were up 27% from the previous week, but down 1% from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to Mexico (75,700MT), China (63,000MT), Nigeria (49,000MT), Guatemala (33,500MT), and the Philippines (32,400MT).
