According to the US Department of Agriculture, for the period April 23-29, 2021 about soybean net sales of 165,300 MT for 20/21 were down 44% from the previous week, but up 86% from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for unknown destinations (135,500MT), Japan (55,600MT), Malaysia (17,600MT, including 1,000MT switched from Indonesia), Indonesia (11,500MT, including decreases of 500MT), and Colombia (1,700MT), were offset by reductions primarily for Mexico (53,400MT). For 21/22, net sales of 192,900MT were for unknown destinations (192,000MT) and Japan (900MT). Exports of 264,100MT were down 22% from the previous week and 20% from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to Mexico (95,900MT), Malaysia (32,200MT), Indonesia (29,500MT), China (27,300MT), and CostaRica (16,700MT).
