US WHEAT EXPORT SALES
According to the US Department of Agriculture, for the period Dec.04-10, 2020 about wheat, net sales of 540,400 metric tons (MT) for 20/21 were down12% from the previous week, but up5% from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for Mexico (96,800MT, including decreases of 900MT), Japan (85,200MT), southkorea (78,100MT), China (68,300MT), and the Philippines (52,000MT), were offset by reductions for Peru (4,300MT). For 21/22, total net sales of 21,000MT were for Peru. Exports of 238,400MT were down 57% from the previous week and 41% from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to Indonesia (75,400MT), China (68,300MT), Mexico (50,300MT), and Yemen (44,000MT).
