According to the US Department of Agriculture, for the period March 26-April 01, 2021 about corn net sales of 757,000MT for 2020/2021 were down 5% from the previous week and 54% from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for Japan (285,300MT, including 135,300MT switc. from unkn. destin. and decreases of 2,900MT), SouthKorea (247,600MT, including decreases of 20,200MT), Colombia (122,200MT, including 50,000MT switc. from unkn. destin. and decreases of 8,700MT), China (99,000MT, including 70,000MT switc. from unkn. destin.), and Mexico (67,700MT, including decreases of 10,000MT), were offset by reductions primarily for unkn. destin. (164,800MT). For 21/22, net sales of 50,000MT reported for Mexico (90,000MT) and Guatemala (10,000MT), were offset by reductions for unkn. destin. (50,000MT). Exports of 2,053,400 MT were up 4% from the previous week and 6% from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to China (578,500MT), Mexico (473,600MT), Japan (366,100MT), South Korea (242,500MT), and Colombia (120,400MT).
