According to the US Department of Agriculture, for the period March 19-25, 2021 about soybean net sales of 105,800 MT for 2020/2021 were up 4% from the previous week, but down 54% from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for China (124,000MT, including 66,000MT switch from unkn. destin.), Egypt (49,300MT, switch. from unkn. destin.), Japan (44,100MT, including 52,500MT switc. from unkn. destin. and decreases of 11,900MT), Belgium (27,700MT, including 30,000MT switch. from unkn. destin. and decreases of 2,300MT), and Colombia (19,700MT, including 8,000MT switc. from unkn. destin. and decreases of 2,100MT), were offset by reductions primarily for unkn. destin. (216,500MT). For 21/22, net sales of 131,000MT were reported for Pakistan (55,000MT), unkn. destin. (42,000 MT), and Mexico (34,000MT). Exports of 460,900 MT-a marketing-year low-were down 8% from the previous week and 35% from the prior 4-week average. The destin. were primarily to Japan (90,600 MT), Mexico (89,700 MT), China (79,000 MT), Egypt (49,300 MT), and Belgium (27,700 MT).
