According to the US Department of Agriculture, for the period March 19-25, 2021 about corn net sales of 797,300MT for 20/21 were down 82% from the previous week and 46% from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for Japan (273,100MT, including 143,700MT switch. from unkn. destin. and decreases of 600MT), Colombia (245,000MT, including 41,000MT switch. from unkn. destin. and decreases of 106,800MT), SaudiArabia (139,200 MT, including 74,200MT switch. from unkn. destin.), SouthKorea (123,500MT, including decreases of 6,500MT), and Mexico (83,800MT, including decreases of 24,400MT), were offset by reductions primarily for unkn. destin. (228,800MT). For 21/22, total net sales of 60,000MT were for Mexico. Exports of 1,977,500MT were unchanged from the previous week, but up 2% from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to Japan (434,200MT), Mexico (298,100MT), China (275,000MT), Colombia (263,900MT), and Taiwan (165,900 MT).
