The ministry regularly monitors the grain market and constantly informs market operators about the current export volumes.

In the current 2020/2021 marketing year, 12.6 million tonnes of wheat have already been exported, however, grain exports will be slower YoY.

This is fully consistent with the planned dynamics, which we agreed with the relevant associations by signing the corresponding annex to the memorandum of understanding on the grain market,” Minister for Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture Ihor Petrashko said.

Ukraine harvested 65.4 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops in 2020; 75.1 million tonnes in 2019; and 70.1 million tonnes in 2018.
