US farm markets featured some explosive prices last week even if Friday session closed mixed but mostly lower. Corn prices completed the weekend session with 0.86% gains and 3.35% for the week.  Soybeans eased back 0.81% on the week’s final trading day, however the March contract, has only capped its weekly gains as closed by 3.25%

According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, wheat export sales for the period Jan 7- 13, 2022 were at 380,600 metric tons (MT).That was up 44% from the previous week and 62% from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for Nigeria (101,300MT, including 30,000MT switched from unkn. destin. and decreases of 2,700MT), Guatemala (66,600MT, including 11,900 switched from unkn. & decreases of 800MT), Japan (56,100MT), Thailand (51,000MT), & Mexico (35,500MT, including
