Egypt’s state grain buyer GASC, got different offers in its today’s wheat tender to buy an unspecified quantity of wheat for shipment Jan. 9-20.
The lowest offer was at $350.85 per tonne for 60,000 tonnes of Romanian wheat on a free-on-board (FOB) basis.
Particularly, the offer was presented by Abu Dhabi-based multinational animal feed and essential food commodities specialist, called Al Dahra. 
Al Dahra, which is owned by Abu Dhabi’s state-backed firm ADQ, is a new participant in GASC tenders.

Other offers were presented by GTCS for 60k of Russian wheat at $362.00 FOB; Soufflet for 60k of French wheat at $361.95 FOB; ADM for 60k of Russian wheat at $354.50 and or 60k of Romanian wheat at $359.00 both FOB;
LDC for 60k of Ukrainian wheat at $355.00 FOB;
Solaris for 60k of Russian wheat at $351.3 FOB;
Grainexport for 60k of Romanian wheat at $356.50 FOB;
CHS for 60k of Romainan wheat at $358.40 FOB;
Viterra for 60k of French wheat at $359.79 FOB;
Aston for 60k of Russian wheat at $355.50 FOB.
No purchase has yet been made but tender results are expected later in the afternoon.
