Washington March 18, 2021 US SOYBEAN EXPORT SALES

According to the US Department of Agriculture, for the period March 05-11, 2021 about soybean net sales of 202,400 MT for 20/21 were down 42% from the previous week and 31% from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for China (71,500MT, including 66,000MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 100MT), Mexico (66,000MT, including decreases of 500MT), Bangladesh (57,100MT, including 55,000MT switched from unknown destinations), Indonesia (31,300MT, including decreases of 900MT), and Japan (25,100MT, including 10,700MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 1,300MT), were offset by reductions primarily for unknown destinations (123,200MT). Exports of 534,100MT were down 24% from the previous week and 44% from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to Indonesia (127,700MT), Egypt (90,200MT), China (82,000MT), Mexico (70,500MT), and Bangladesh (57,100MT).
