U.S. WHEAT EXPORT SALES
According to the US Department of Agriculture, for the period Nov27-Dec03, 2020 about wheat, net sales of 616,500 metric tons(MT) for 2020/2021 were up38% from the previous week and 42% from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for Mexico (107,300MT), unknown destinations(104,000MT), Japan (88,700MT, including decreases of 200MT), Thailand (86,500MT), and China (68,300MT),were offset by reductions primarily for Algeria (2,400MT). Exports of 552,600MT were up22% from the previous week and 56% from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to Japan (90,700MT), Mexico(73,300MT), China(68,300MT), the Philippines (66,000MT), and Thailand(54,800MT).
