According to the US Department of Agriculture, US weekly export sales for the period August 20-26, 2021 were:
About wheat, at 295,300 metric tons (MT) for 2021/2022.
That was up noticeably from the previous week (+154%) and up 15 percent from the prior 4-week average.
Mexico with 103,900 MT was the first buyer.
Shipments, in contrast, were at 417,100 MT, down 38 percent from the previous week and 27 percent from the prior 4-week average.
About corn, net sales were at 300,800 MT for 2020/2021 (a marketing-year low).
These were greater than the previous week, but down noticeably from the prior 4-week average.
For 2021/2022, corn net sales were at 1,159,500 MT.
Mexico with 464,500 MT, was the first buyer.
Shipments with 529,300 MT, were down 30 percent from the previous week and 48 percent from the prior 4-week average.
About soybeans, net sales were at 68,200 MT for 2020/2021, down 9 percent from the previous week, but up 9 percent from the prior 4-week average.
Netherlands with 86,200 MT was the first buyer.
Shipments, meantime, were at 324,000 MT, up 25 percent from the previous week and 50 percent from the prior 4-week average.
