According to the US Department of Agriculture, for the period April 23-29, 2021 about corn, net sales of 137,400MT for 20/21 were down 74% from the previous week and 72% from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for Japan (206,800MT, including 109,600MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 1,800MT), Mexico (141,600MT, including decreases of 9,400MT), SouthKorea (121,700MT, including 65,000MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 12,800MT), Colombia (118,600MT, including 100,000MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 37,800MT), and China (83,100MT, including 64,000MT switched from unknown destinations), were offset by reductions primarily for unknown destinations (559,100MT). For 21/22, net sales of 106,200MT were reported for unknown destinations (50,800MT), Japan (32,500MT), and Mexico (22,900MT). Exports of 2,195,100 MT were up 15% from the previous week and 19% from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to China (698,100MT), Japan (448,600MT), Mexico (293,100MT), South Korea (255,900MT), and Colombia (136,600MT).
