Washington May 13, 2021 US WHEAT EXPORT SALES

According to the US Department of Agriculture, for the period April 30- May 6, 2021 about wheat, net of 30,300 metric tons (MT) for 2020/2021 were down noticeably from the previous week and down 61% from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for southkorea (67,900MT, including 65,000MT switched from unknown destinations), Malaysia (36,000MT, switched from unknown destinations), Burma (16,000MT, switched from unknown destinations), Italy (15,800MT), and the RepublicofSouthAfrica (11,000MT, including 10,000MT switched from unknown destinations), were offset by reductions primarily for unknown destinations (97,000MT). For 2021/2022, net sales of 268,000MT were primarily for Mexico (96,900MT), unknown destinations (76,700 MT), Honduras (24,000MT), Jamaica (22,000MT), and the DominicanRepublic (20,000MT). Exports of 523,100MT were down 11% from the previous week and 3% from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to China (200,300MT), Mexico (84,000MT), South Korea (76,100 MT), Algeria (62,700MT), and Italy (36,800MT).
