Washington April 29, 2021 US SOYBEAN EXPORT SALES

According to the US Department of Agriculture, for the period April 16-22, 2021 about soybean net sales of 292,500 MT for 20/21 were up noticeably from the previous week and from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for Mexico (115,300MT, including decreases of 1,000MT), China (62,500MT, including decreases of 5,500MT), Egypt (51,900MT, including 48,700MT switched from unknown destinations), SaudiArabia (29,200MT, including 30,000MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 800MT), and Japan (23,400MT, including decreases of 1,600MT), were offset by reductions for unknown destinations (53,000MT). For 21/22, net sales of 439,000MT were reported for China (198,000MT), unknown destinations (186,000MT), and #Pakistan (55,000MT). Exports of 340,400MT were up 50% from the previous week, but down 6% from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to Egypt (106,900MT, including 58,200MT-late), Mexico (62,100MT), Japan (55,000MT), Saudi Arabia (29,200MT), and Colombia (23,900MT).
