According to the head of the analytical centre at rail operator Rusagrotrans, Russia is expected to supply 28,000 tonnes of wheat to Algeria.
Its the first such shipment since December 2016.
Algeria is usually France’s top wheat export market.
In October, Algeria relaxed some of its specifications, making it possible for traders to offer Russian and other Black Sea wheat in tenders for higher-protein grain.
