Per latest data released on this morning by the local agriculture ministry, Ukrainian farms had harvested 49.4 million tonnes of grain by Oct. 7 from 70.2% of the sown area, with an average yield of 4.41 tonnes per hectare.
Ukraine plans to thresh a record 80.3 million tonnes of grain in 2021.
Meantime, Ukraine has already exported 15.4 million tonnes of grain so far in the 2021/22 July-June season, compared 13 million tonnes at the same stage a year earlier.
That included 9.74 million tonnes of wheat, 3.91 million tonnes of barley and 1.49 million tonnes of corn.
Thus, exports could jump until to 61.5 million tonnes in 2021/22.
Of that, the government has said exports could include 24.5 million tonnes of wheat, 30.9 million tonnes of corn and 5.2 million tonnes of barley.
