According to the European Commission, softwheat exports from the EU in the 2021/22 season that started in July continued to run last week.
Indeed, as of Nov. 28, EU soft wheat exports had reached 11.62 million tonnes, up from 10.27 million tonnes by the same week in 2020/21, and above last season, when 10.45 million tonnes had been exported by the same week
Some French export data are still incomplete, without to got further details by the Commission.
Particularly, a breakdown of volumes for each of the EU’s 27 member states indicated 1.88 million tonnes of soft wheat exports for France, more than 1 million tonnes above the 822,592 tonnes the Commission reported last week.
However port data compiled by Refinitiv, still shows France had shipped 3.5 million tonnes of soft wheat outside the European Union as of Monday.
As for durum wheat, EU export were at 252.105t.
That was up from 246.412 of prior week, noticeably up from 101.323 t by the same week in 2020/21 and up from 282.411 t by the same week in 2019/20.
As for barley, EU data showed 2021/22 exports at 4.12 million tonnes, against 3.43 million a year ago and 3.10 million tonnes reported a week ago.
Of that, the French share rose to1.75 million tonnes from 724,556 tonnes reported the previous week.
Meantime, EU corn imports reached 5.17 million tonnes, against a revised 7.09 million a year ago.
EU 2021/22 soybeans import, had reached 5.07 million tonnes, down from 6,02 million tonnes in 2020/21 at same week.
EU 2021/22 rapeseed imports, were at 1,88 million tonnes, down from 3 million tonnes a year ago.
