BEIJING – October 18, 2021

Per latest data showed by Chinese General Administration of Customs, China’s wheat imports in September plunged down 40.4%, from the previous year reached only 640,000 tonnes.

China’s grains imports in total were at 13.75 million tonnes. That was down 3.6% from a year earlier. China’s imports of various feed grains from corn to barley have surged past year, as prices of domestic corn soared on falling stocks and output.
