Per latest data from the US Department of Agriculture, wheat export sales, for the period May 20-26, 2022 and delivery in 2021/22 season were at 700 metric tons (MT).
That was down noticeably from the previous week and down 98% from the prior 4-week average.
Increases primarily for Venezuela (7,000MT), the Philippines (3,000MT), Mexico (2,500MT, including decreases of 700MT), Taiwan (2,000MT) and Italy (1,500MT), were offset by reductions for Colombia (15,100MT), Peru (1,900MT), the Dominican Republic (500MT) and unk. destin. (500MT).
Net sales of 363,500 MT for 2022/23 primarily for SouthKorea (108,400MT), Thailand (60,000MT), Egypt (60,000MT), Mexico (41,900MT) and Colombia (35,200MT), were offset by reductions for unk. destin. (94,500MT).
Exports of 372,700 MT were up 25% from the previous week and 18% from the prior 4-week average.
The destinations were primarily to Mexico (82,400MT), Nigeria (78,700MT), the Philippines (65,000MT), Taiwan (42,000MT) and Peru (33,100MT).
As for corn , net sales of 185,800 MT for 2021/22 were up 23% from the previous week, but down 52% from the prior 4-week average.
Increases primarily for SaudiArabia (74,800MT, including 68,000MT switched from unk. dest.), Japan (70,200MT, including 47,500MT switched from unk. dest. and decreases of 16,300MT), South Korea (65,500MT, including decreases of 5,300MT), China (62,800MT, including 66,000MT switc. from unk. dest. and decreases of 3,200MT) and Mexico (59,300MT, including decreases of 89,000MT), were offset by reduct. primarily for unk. dest. (284,900 MT).
Net sales of 48,700 MT for 2022/23 were reported for Colombia (30,000MT), Honduras (8,700MT), Guatemala (7,000MT) and unk. dest. (3,000 MT).
Exports of 1,579,700 MT were down 13% from the previous week and 4% from the prior 4-week avg.
The destinations were primarily to Mexico (288,600MT), Japan (283,100MT), China (268,800MT), Colombia (162,800MT) and South Korea (131,500MT).
As for soybeans , net sales of 111,600 MT for 2021/22–a marketing-year low–were down 60% from the previous week and 77% from the prior 4-week average.
Increases primarily for the Netherlands (68,400MT, including 63,000MT switched from unk. dest. and decreases of 600MT), Egypt (54,000MT), Mexico (50,900MT), Colombia (29,900MT, including decreases of 200MT) and Tunisia (27,100MT, including 30,000MT switched from unk. dest. and decreases of 3,000MT), were offset by reductions primarily for China (72,200MT), Italy (46,000MT) and unk. dest. (29,300MT).
Net sales of 284,000 MT for 2022/23 were primarily for unk. dest. (105,000MT), Pakistan (66,000MT), Egypt (65,000MT) and Mexico (44,000MT).
Exports of 406,300 MT were down 25% from the previous week and 36% from the prior 4-week average.
The destinations were primarily to Egypt (118,000MT), China (70,000MT), the Netherlands (68,400MT), Japan (35,100MT) and Mexico (27,200MT).
