According to the US Department of Agriculture, US weekly wheat export sales, for the period Nov. 12-18, 2021, were at 567,500 metric tons (MT) for 2021/2022.That was up 42% from the prev. wk. and 70% from the prior 4-wk avg.
Increa. primarily for Japan (154,200MT), Nigeria (102,100MT), Mexico (82,000MT, incl. decreases of 17,700MT), the Philippines (50,800MT), and Taiwan (48,000MT), were offset by reduct. primarily for Peru (5,000MT), Jamaica (2,000MT), and Belize (1,200MT).
Exports of 199,200 MT were down 36% from the previous wk and 10% from the prior 4-wk avg.
The destin were primarily to Mexico (60,100MT), SouthKorea (50,700 MT), Japan (32,800 MT), Spain (19,200 MT), and the Philippines (13,800 MT).
For 21/22, net sales and exports totaling 200 MT of durum wheat were reported late for Japan.
Accumulated exports of durum wheat to Italy were adjusted down 19,236 MT for week ending Nov. 4th.

As for corn, net sales of 1,429,200 MT for 21/22–a mk-year high–were up 58% from the prev. wk and 40% from the prior 4-week avg.
Increases were primarily for Mexico (629,600MT, includ. decreases of 2,600MT), Canada (306,900MT, includ decreases of 14,500MT), Japan (120,900MT, includ. 93,600 MT switc. from unkn. destin.), China (77,500MT, including 68,000MT switch. from unkn. destin.), and Saudi Arabia (73,400MT, includ. 68,000MT switch. from unkn. destin.).
Total net sales of 90,000 MT for 22/23 were for Mexico.
Exports of 929,000 MT were down 20% from the prev. wk, but up 12% from the prior 4-wk avg.
The destin. were primarily to Mexico (285,400MT), China (281,500MT), Japan (93,600 MT), Colombia (79,400MT), and Saudi Arabia (73,400MT).
For 21/22, the current outstanding balance of 498,700 MT is for unk. destin. (429,000MT), Italy (60,700MT), and Saudi Arabia (9,000MT).
As for soybeans, net sales of 1,564,500 MT for 21/22 were up 13% from the prev. week and from the prior 4-wk avg. Increases primarily for China (882,500MT, includ. 461,000MT switch. from unkn. destin. and decreases of 24,500MT), Mexico (168,200MT, including decreases of 1,100MT), Thailand (148,600MT, including 70,000MT switch. from unk. destin. and 66,000MT switc. from the Netherlands), Egypt (117,300MT, includ. decreases of 700MT), and Indonesia (98,300MT, including 68,000MT switc. from unkn. destin.), were offset by reductions primarily for unk. destin. (56,400MT) and the Netherlands (47,500 MT).
Total net sales of 6,000MT for 22/23 were for unk. destin.
Exports of 2,253,000 MT were down 4% from the prev. wk and 18% from the prior 4-wk average.
The destin. were primarily to China (1,410,700MT), Thailand (152,100MT), #Pakistan (128,200MT), Mexico (112,700MT), and the Netherlands (84,500MT).For 21/22, new exports for own account totaling 29,900 MT were for Canada.
The current exports for own account outstanding balance is 41,200 MT, all Canada.
