Washington – March 18, 2021 US CORN EXPORT SALES

According to the US Department of Agriculture, for the period March 05-11, 2021 about corn net sales of of 985,900MT for 20/21 were up noticeably from the prev week and from the prior 4week average. China (624,800MT, including 612,000MT switched from unkn dest), Mexico (285,500MT, including 24,500MT switched from unkn dest and decreases of 2,000MT), Colombia (208,500MT, including 116,000MT switched from unkn dest and decreases of 45,300 MT), SouthKorea (168,200MT, including 68,000MT switched from unkn dest and decreases of 15,500MT), and Japan (138,300MT, including 88,800MT switched from unkn dest and decreases of 12,000MT), were offset by reductions primarily for unkn dest (1,038,000MT). For 21/22, net sales of 240,900MT were reported for Mexico (195,700MT), Guatemala (36,300MT), and Canada (8,900MT). Exports of 2,199,400MT–a MY high–were up 38% from the previous week and 42% from the prior 4-week average. The dest were primarily to Japan (434,400MT), Mexico (390,100MT), China (356,900MT), Colombia (199,900MT), and Taiwan (192,400MT).
