According to the US Department of Agriculture, wheat export sales for the period March 25-31, 2022 and delivery in 2021/22 season were at 156,300 metric tons (MT).
That was up 65% from the previous week, but down 11% from the prior 4-week average.
Increases primarily for #Indonesia (55,000MT), Taiwan (41,700MT), Italy (20,000MT), Mexico (18,000MT, includ. decreases of 200MT) and Thailand (15,100MT, including 13,000MT switched from the Philippines and decreases of 400MT) were offset by reductions primarily for #Guatemala (15,000 MT) and the Philippines (9,700 MT).
Net sales of 223,000 MT for 2022/23 were primarily for unkn. destin. (75,000MT), the Philippines (59,500MT), Mexico (41,000MT), #SouthKorea (30,000MT) and the Dominican Republic (10,000 MT).
Exports of 309,800 MT were down 11% from the previous week and 8% from the prior 4-week average.
The destinations were primarily to the Philippines (88,300MT), Mexico (80,900MT), Taiwan (36,600MT), Nigeria (29,100MT) and Thailand (26,600MT).
As for corn, net sales of 782,400 MT for 2021/22 were up 23% from the previous week, but down 44% from the prior 4-week average.
Increases primarily for Mexico (261,000MT, including 32,000MT switched from unkn. destin. and decreases of 47,300MT), Japan (216,000MT, including 143,100MT switched from unkn. destin. and decreases of 4,100MT), South Korea (192,100MT, incl. 133,000MT switched from unkn. destin. and decreases of 6,100MT), SaudiArabia (157,000MT, incl. 147,000MT switched from unkn. destin.) and #Spain (64,100MT, incl. 65,000MT switched from unkn. destin. and decreases of 1,800MT), were offset by reductions primarily for unkn. destin. (199,800MT).
Net sales of 145,200 MT for 2022/23 were reported for unknown destinations (136,000MT) and Canada (9,200MT).
Exports of 1,633,000 MT were down 13% from the previous week, but up 2% from the prior 4-week average.
The destinations were primarily to #China (458,700MT), Mexico (328,100MT), Japan (180,000MT), Saudi Arabia (157,000MT) and South Korea (122,900MT).
As for soybeans, net sales of 800,700 MT for 2021/22 were down 39% from the previous week and 38% from the prior 4-week average.
Increases primarily for China (435,700MT, includ. 66,000MT switched from unkn. destin., decreases of 2,300MT and 67,000MT – late), Egypt (154,000MT, including 50,000MT switched from unkn. destin. and decreases of 7,100MT), Canada (73,000MT), unkn. destin. (31,600MT) and Mexico (29,600MT, includ. decreases of 1,700MT), were offset by reductions for Indonesia (7,500MT).
Net sales of 298,500 MT for 2022/23 were reported for Mexico (208,000MT), unkn. destin. (65,000MT) and Japan (25,500MT).
Exports of 832,800 MT were up 24% from the previous week and 20% from the prior 4-week average.
The destinations were primarily to China (458,800MT, incl. 67,000MT -late), Egypt (156,000MT), Mexico (74,300MT), Japan (36,700MT) and Indonesia (36,200 MT).
