Per latest data from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, weekly wheat export sales, for the period April 8-14, 2022 and delivery in 2021/22 season were 26,300 metric tons (MT).
That was a marketing-year low, down 73% from the previous week and 79% from the prior 4-week average.
Increases primarily for Mexico (90,500MT, includ. decr. of 1,000MT), Haiti (27,000MT switc. from unk. dest.), Ghana (26,000MT switc. from Nigeria), Cameroon (23,000MT, incl. 20,000MT switc. from Nigeria) and Italy (15,000MT), were offset by reductions primarily for Nigeria (131,000MT).
Net sales of 238,400 MT for 2022/23 were primarily for Nigeria (86,000MT), unk. dest. (75,000MT), Japan (45,900MT), Mexico (13,000MT) and SouthKorea (9,500 MT).
Exports of 504,000 MT were up 48% from the previous week and from the prior 4-week average.
The destinations were primarily to Mexico (77,300MT), Thailand (60,200MT), Taiwan (57,100MT), Guatemala (39,400MT) and South Korea (38,500MT).
As for corn , net sales of 879,200 MT for 2021/22 were down 34% from the previous week and 6% from the prior 4-week average.
Increases primarily for China (675,200MT, includ. decr. of 5,600MT), South Korea (126,200MT, including 68,000MT switc. from unk. dest. and decreases of 6,800MT), Mexico (75,500MT, incl. decreases of 34,600MT), Indonesia (67,200MT, including 68,000MT switc. from unk. dest. and decreases of 800MT) and SaudiArabia (42,800MT, including 40,000MT switc. from unk. dest.), were offset by reductions primarily for unk. dest. (234,000MT).
Net sales of 389,600 MT for 2022/23 were reported for China (340,000MT), Colombia (40,000MT), Mexico (5,100MT) and Canada (4,500MT).
Exports of 1,196,400 MT were down 23% from the previous week and 27% from the prior 4-week average.
The destinations were primarily to China (402,400MT), Mexico (275,900MT), Japan (104,300MT), Indonesia (67,200MT) and South Korea (61,900MT).
As for soybeans, net sales of 460,200 MT for 2021/22 were down 16% from the previous week and 39% from the prior 4-week average.
Increases primarily for China (496,400MT, including 66,000MT switc. from unk. dest. and decreases of 5,000MT), Indonesia (81,000MT, including 55,000MT switc. from unk. dest. and decreases of 100MT), Bangladesh (57,000MT, incl. 55,000MT switc. from unk. dest.), Egypt (53,700MT, incl. decr. of 1,300MT) and Japan (51,600MT, incl. 45,500MT switc. from unk. dest. and decreases of 2,600MT), were offset by reduc. for unk. dest. (326,300MT) and Spain (66,000MT).
Net sales of 1,240,000 MT for 2022/23 were primarily for China (669,000MT), unk. dest. (351,000MT), Spain (131,000MT), the Netherlands (66,000MT) and Mexico (20,000MT).
Exports of 889,000 MT were up 10% from the prev. week and 27% from the prior 4-week average.
The destinations were primarily to China (294,000MT), Indonesia (109,700MT), Mexico (102,300MT), the Netherlands (84,200MT) and Japan (67,600MT).
