Russian wheat prices rose sharply last week.
According to IKAR, indeed, #Russian wheat with 12.5% protein loading from Black Sea ports for supply in August was at $287 a tonne free on board (FOB), up $20 from the previous week. According to SovEcon, Russian wheat price was at $286 per tonne with an increse by $18 per tonne. Barley price was up $12 at $245per tonne. Domestic price for 3rd class wheat, #European part of #Russia, excludes delivery, was at 14,350 roubles/t +900 rbls ($195.49) (Sovecon);
#Sunflower seeds was unchanged at 37,825 rbls/t (Sovecon);
Domestic #sunfloweroil was at 94,325 rbls/t +2,000 rbls (Sovecon);
Export sunflower #oil was at $1,245/t +$15 (IKAR);
#Soybeans was at 49,400 rbls/t +2,000 rbls (Sovecon);
White sugar, Russia’s south was at $584.5/t +$10.5 (IKAR);
